Where were you when you accepted your position at Christie & Co?
I had just left JLL and was thinking about setting up my own company
When did you join Christie & Co?
The first adventure started in 2009 until 2014 and then I came back in September 2018
What was your first job?
Sales engineer with major accounts where I sold IT solutions for a visually impaired user public
In a few sentences, can you tell us about your job at Christie & Co?
I assist investors in their acquisition or disposal projects of hotel properties
What is your favourite thing about Christie & Co?
The reputation that the company has built up over several years in its market; the good atmosphere that reigns there!
If you had to choose a favourite project you have worked on at Christie & Co so far, what would it be?
The Greenlight project, a portfolio of 5 hotels with 440 rooms
What has been the biggest challenge of your career so far?
Dealing with failure and stress
What has been the highlight of your career so far?
Honesty
How has the industry changed since you started at Christie & Co?
The industry has become much more professional. Investment funds have become well-structured since I started and are allowing hoteliers to grow rapidly
Who do you draw inspiration from in your industry?
My daughter Lily
Tell us a bit about your life outside of work - what are your hobbies?
I ride my motorbike, kite surf, mountain bike, paddle and I'm starting a new discipline with Wing foil
What is your hometown? Where do you currently live?
I was born in Toulouse and I live in Marseille
Where did you spend your best holidays?
On the islands of Koh Samui and Koh Phangan in Thailand
If you could live and work in any city, where would you go?
In France it would be around the Bassin d'Arcachon and Koh Samui for abroad
What would be your meal on a desert island?
Grilled lobster
