Analyst Consultancy & Valuation (Internship 6 months Paris office)

Purpose of the Role

This role forms an integral part of the Christie & Co Hotels Team in France and across our European offices and will support both the Consultancy Team and the Agency Team with comprehensive research, data analysis and data tools across a wide range of general socio-economic, real estate and hotel market topics.

Furthermore, this role will include writing press releases, market reports, and presentations to showcase the capabilities of Christie & Co and provide sought-after commentaries on the market. 

The role will suit an individual with strong writing skills, an analytical mind and a passion for hotel real estate. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Consultancy Department 

• Market studies, feasibility studies, rent assessment, EBITDA analysis, due diligence

• Analyse conversion of real estate assets into hotels

• Monitor our transaction database

• Monitor our yield database

• Analyse hotel transactions and profitability

• Analyse hotels and projects for sale in collaboration with the Agency team

• Research projects

Agency Department 

• Draft our marketing collaterals in English and in French

• Prepare teasers and information memorandum in collaboration with the Agency Department

• Support the Agency department in the preparation of their pitches and proposals in collaboration the Managing Director and/or the Marketing Department 

• Write press releases in collaboration with the Managing Director

• To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably expected.

Working Relationships and Contacts

You will work within the Consultancy team, with close working relationships with the Agency team. You will work closely with the other departments to cross-sell business and to provide reports for pitches and client presentations.

Person Specification

Skills and Experience

• Computer literacy (MS Office, Internet) Essential

• Excellent French  Language and report writing skills Essential

• Knowledge of real estate and /or tourism and hotel industry metrics/ KPIs Essential

• Bachelor’s Degree (2:1 or above) in Economics, Maths, Real Estate, Hospitality

or other relevant field Essential

• Work experience in a professional environment Essential

• Professional Knowledge of English Essential

• Knowledge of data tools (e.g. QlikView, Tableau, Access) Desirable

• (Market) Research or Analyst experience Desirable
